There is nothing worse than wanting to get out of the sun or rain for a while and having to go sit in a smelly cabin or, worse yet, having to use a bathroom that looks and smells unsavory.
Our 42' Uniflite FOXY LADY was built in 1975 in Bellingham, Washington, and made her way to Hawaii to spend the first 20 years of her life in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. She was meticulously cared for as a recreational/charter boat while in Kona. She was brought to the Ala Wai Harbor on Oahu and served as a recreational boat until her arrival in the Haleiwa Harbor in June of 2001. In January 2003 we remodeled her cabin to better suit our style of fishing and to keep everyone on board as comfortable as possible while at sea. Uniflites are known for their heavy hulls and steady ride, and have been called one of the "best kept secrets" in the boating world. The FOXY LADY is equipped with many amenities for your comfort and safety. This twin engine sportfisher has roomy and shaded flying bridge with seating for 5, a shaded aft deck, and a large comfortable salon with two full size couches to stretch out and rest on while you are waiting for the next bite! She offers a CLEAN head and hot shower. There are no roaches in the galley. And a custom CD stereo system is available to play your favorite tunes.

What about the fishing tackle?
Will it be in good working order and able to help land the fish of a lifetime? Our tackle is top notch and we have plenty of it. We use only tournament quality reels from Shimano matched to custom rods from Calstar. Our rods and reels vary in size to handle the largest of billfish well exceeding 1,000 pounds right down to the smallest of game fish in the 10-25 pound range. We have a large selection of artificial lures and bait fish to catch whatever is biting in a variety of conditions and seasons. The Foxy Lady has fish boxes that can hold over 1500 pounds of fish (just in case). We spend more on ice each day than most people spend on gas for their car in a week to insure that the fish is kept fresh. Every day the Foxy Lady leaves the harbor, she is prepared to do battle with as many fish as their captains and crews can find. Every piece of tackle is routinely serviced and maintained. You can be confident that when you jump into the fighting chair, our tackle will be up to the challenge.

The FOXY LADY is also routinely inspected by very special ladies our wives, who make sure that after each outing we are doing our jobs to wash and scrub her decks, walls, cushions, windshields, lines, brass, cabins, head, and kitchen to remove salt spray, food, trash, and fish remains and replace all paper supplies. Their standards are drill sergeant high . . . everything sparking, clean, dry, and odorless all of the time. When we say the FOXY LADY is wife and mother-in-law ready, we mean it.
The Foxy Lady also fully complies with all United States Coast Guard Regulations. Among other things, this means our mechanical engines, shafts, parts and rudder are well maintained, our oil, gasoline, and lubricant levels are normal, our radios and backup communication systems work, our electronics are in good repair, our paint is fresh, and our emergency equipment (lifeboats, lifevests, epirb, electronic finders, gps), is at the ready and working properly. In short, we are ship shape and ready for any eventuality.
